ASD/CLAS Analysis Steps
Establish Configuration Management on Components
- Stiffness, mass, and damping matrices
- Output transformation matrices
- Forcing functions
- DMM bulk-data and label files
Execute Math Model Checks
- Check results must be accepted by analyst in order to proceed
with analyses
Setup all analysis configurations (liftoff,
transonic, abort, ...) up front
- “Click” and “add” components for each analysis configuration(s)
For each analysis configuration select:
- Forcing functions
- Analysis parameters
- Analysis type: linear, nonlinear, ...
- Time-step, system or component damping, ...
For each analysis configuration, define
constraint equations between component interfaces
- Rigid constraints; MPCs
- Soft constraints (springs, dampers)
- Nonlinear constraints (deadbands, snubbers, pad-sep, nonlinear
springs); MPCs
Execute all analyses
Review all max/mins, time-histories, response
spectra
Generate custom report(s)
